Our e-commerce systems are
currently in use on over 250 web sites. Some of our more unique examples are outlined below. All Standard and
Professional shopping carts include free upgrades as they are released.
American
Society of Safety Engineers
The ASSE Shop Online section was created to allow a visitor to buy a mug, sign up for a conference and even apply for
membership all at once. Instead of forcing the visitor to complete three different shopping transactions this site does
it all at once. In addition we have incorporated cross selling to entice the purchase of additional related items.
After items are added to the cart members can see what they saved by being members and non-member can see what they would save
if they became members. If they apply for membership with their first purchase, the member discount is also applied.
In addition to the e-commerce
sections of this web site we also programmed and full site search, a survey and results system, a discussion forum and members
only password protected sections.

Most of the programming for these two sister companies is identical. We designed the online shopping shopping system to
give the visitor as much information in as little amount of time as possible. Their product database can easily be
imported from their in-house system with just a few clicks of the mouse. Because of the structure of the databases the
advanced customers can quickly select items from product categories for purchase. Other customers can select the system
configurator and walk through the purchase of their system knowing all the components will work together.
Once the purchase is complete the
order data is imported into their local system in a matter of seconds. When any part of an order is shipped or put on
back-order the customer is emailed a notice telling them of the status change. If the customer is curious of the
shipping status of an order they can also check it using only their order number. This also works for phone-in orders.
Rymar-KCR
- This part of the site is protected and available to HBO and Rymar only.
Their systems allows HBO sales representative the ability to schedule delivery of products to cable companies all across the
US. The online system ties directly into their in-house ordering and shipping systems. HBO employees not longer
have to phone in or fax in their orders just to have a Rymar employees enter them into their system.
